Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 2 English breakfast teabags
- 2 whole cloves
- 2 tsp minced ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground allspice
- 1 cup water
- 12 tablespoons Anchor Full Cream Milk Powder
- 1/4 cup condensed milk (or add to taste)
Directions
- Add 2 cups of water into a saucepan
- Bring to a boil while whisking in spices in the water
- When water comes to a rapid boil, remove from heat and add tea bags
- Allow tea bags to steep for 5 minutes
- Remove tea bags and strain the tea using a fine mesh strainer
- Add 1 cup water, condensed milk, cinnamon stick to a saucepan and cook on low heat
- Keep stirring until milk begins to bubble
- Remove from heat
- Blend milk using an immersion blender
- Pour 1/2 cup chai tea into a teacup. Slowly add warm, frothy milk to tea. Sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon
- Serve warm
