Ultimate Chai Latte

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 English breakfast teabags
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 2 tsp minced ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 cup water
  • 12 tablespoons Anchor Full Cream Milk Powder
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk (or add to taste)

Directions

  1. Add 2 cups of water into a saucepan
  2. Bring to a boil while whisking in spices in the water
  3. When water comes to a rapid boil, remove from heat and add tea bags
  4. Allow tea bags to steep for 5 minutes
  5. Remove tea bags and strain the tea using a fine mesh strainer
  6. Add 1 cup water, condensed milk, cinnamon stick to a saucepan and cook on low heat
  7. Keep stirring until milk begins to bubble
  8. Remove from heat
  9. Blend milk using an immersion blender
  10. Pour 1/2 cup chai tea into a teacup. Slowly add warm, frothy milk to tea. Sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon
  11. Serve warm
