Vanilla Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Anchor Salted Butter
  • 3/4 cup icing sugar
  • 1 cup baking flour, sifted
  • 1 egg
  • A few drops of vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 320°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Cream Anchor Salted Butter and icing sugar thoroughly
  3. Add egg and vanilla, and mix well
  4. Fold in flour and mix into a dough
  5. Pipe desired shapes and rest for 10 mins
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 mins or until golden brown
  7. Remove from oven and cool on racks. Store in an airtight container.

    Saw this recipe and thought it sounded yummy. I followed all the directions but the cookies melted in the oven. Made a mess.
